Mariah Energy Corporation (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) submitted a new distributed power energy system for independent verification by the GHG Center. The Heat PlusPowerTM System includes a Capstone microturbine (a California-based manufacturer) for electricity production, and a waste heat recovery system designed by Mariah for domestic hot water and space heat production. Verification testing took place at a 12-unit work/live commercial building located in Calgary.
