AirCare Fuel Pre-Heater for Light Duty Vehicles

AirCare International, Inc. manufactures the Fuel-Techline preheater which is intended to be installed in light-duty passenger vehicles upstream of the engine system's fuel inlet. AirCare states that installation and operation of the preheater can improve fuel economy from 12.0 to 18.0 percent in gasoline-fueled engines with a concomitant reduction in CO2 emissions. This project has been cancelled by the GHG Center.
